Nice information about symbols but seems too focused to Apple users.

  3. Bob Bobson says:

So is then is there another symbol for Token-Ring?

  4. JoeD says:

@ Ridhuan: Windows-based Computers all use Power, Bluetooth, Play, Pause, USB, Firewire, Ethernet, and the “At” symbol (an abbreviation of the accounting and commercial invoice term “at the rate of” which was placed as a key on the typewriter in 1885 by the Underwood Typewriter Company, and further used in 1971 by American programmer Raymond Tomlinson as the natural division of the first email sent… all of which I know by a 10 second wiki search, proof Wired authors are lazy idiots). So maybe Apple DOES only use the command and SBBOD symbols. Should we not include those just because you’ve only used a Windows PC your whole life? Waah. Maybe you can explain to us why the Windows BSoD is Blue in color, and not Red. I can.
